CONCEPT.
This project presents the interior design of an apartment in Košice. The apartment becomes a place where the personality of its resident meets her appreciation for the mid-century modern style and the functional purity of Bauhaus.
The space is designed to feel playful and vibrant – a harmonious connection between aesthetics and functionality. Every piece of furniture, every detail, and every color contributes to creating a balanced yet distinctive home. The design embraces warm tones and iconic elements of the mid-20th century, combining geometric rationality with softer forms. The result is a modern interior, rooted in the history of design, yet reflecting the client’s unique character.
This is a redesign of an older, already renovated apartment. Together with the client, we focused on transforming the living room with the kitchen, the hallway, bathroom, and WC.

KITCHEN
We didn’t want to change the kitchen completely, so we decided to replace the countertop, which visually unified the space and created a better seating area. A key feature became the back wall clad in dark blue tiles, visually linking the kitchen to the hallway on the opposite side.
The idea was to create a contrasting visual dialogue: at the entrance, there is white tiling with a blue bench, while on the other side, the concept is reversed – blue tiles paired with a white kitchen.
